Autumn Kulaga-Engoren

Autumn Kulaga-Engoren, MS, FAMI, currently serves as Chair of the Board of Governors and a Governor on the AMI Board of Governors since July 2021. Autumn is a Biomedical Illustrator at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command since September 2018 and has been a Biomedical Artist at Encephalo Creative Studios since 2013. Previous positions include Biomedical Illustrator at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory (2007-2018) and Biomedical Illustrator at Sapling Learning (2013-2015). Autumn's early career includes a Graduate Assistant role at UIC's Biomedical Visualization Department (2011-2013) and a student internship at The Rust Company (2006). Autumn holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois Chicago (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University (2005-2009).
