Kim Prophet currently serves as Controller at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) since April 2024. Previously, Kim held various finance and accounting leadership roles, including Director of Finance & Accounting and Associate Director of Accounting at the National Immigration Law Center, and Controller at The Fund for Global Human Rights and Whitman-Walker Health. Earlier in the career, Kim worked as a Real Estate Agent at Century 21 Home Center and held accounting positions such as Assistant Controller and Assistant Accounting Manager at the American Geophysical Union. Kim began the professional journey as a Loan Servicing Accountant at the National Cooperative Bank. Educationally, Kim is pursuing an MBA in Accounting at the University of Maryland Global Campus, having previously earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same institution and a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
