Martin King

Martin King is the ADEPT Clinical Leadership Fellow at NIMDTA. Martin is also a General Surgery Registrar with experience in Oesophagogastric Surgery and General Surgery. Martin has held multiple leadership positions at the Association of Surgeons in Training and is currently serving as a Surgical Trainee Representative at JCST. Additionally, Martin is an Ambassador for the British Heart Foundation and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Martin founded the King of Hearts Ball to raise awareness about heart disease in Northern Ireland. With a background in medicine from Queen's University Belfast, Martin is dedicated to improving surgical training and patient care in the healthcare system.
