Marissa Boland

Marissa Boland is a Program Assistant for Animal Programs at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Marissa has vast experience working with animals, ranging from their role as an Independent Dog Trainer and Pet Sitter to their position as a Foster and Rescue Coordinator at the Pennsylvania SPCA. Marissa's educational background includes a degree in Animal Behavior, Zoology/Animal Biology from Franklin & Marshall College. Throughout their career, Marissa has demonstrated a strong passion for animal welfare and behavior, showcasing impressive skills in training, husbandry, research, and enrichment for various animal species.
