Andrea Imperatori

Andrea Imperatori is an Associate Professor in Thoracic Surgery at the University of Insubria, where responsibilities include directing the School of Specialization in Thoracic Surgery since December 2011. Additionally, Andrea serves as a Research Fellow in Surgery at ASST dei Sette Laghi since November 2018 and has been the head of thoracic surgery at A.O. Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi since October 2001. Previous roles include Clinical Fellow at St James University Hospital and Visiting Professor at Osaka Medical Center for Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease. Andrea has extensive education in medicine, culminating in advanced specialization in oncological surgery from University of Insubria, along with prior degrees from Università di Pavia and Liceo Classico Legnani.
