Pierce Leonard

Pierce Leonard is the SVP, Client, at Assurely, where he helps clients plan, optimize, and simplify their insurance needs at the most efficient price in the market.

Pierce has vast experience placing D&O, E&O, Cyber, and other Executive Liability insurance products/solutions from early-stage startups to public companies across a wide range of industry classes in both the US and abroad.

He began his insurance career with Aon’s Financial Services Group working with public companies on their complex insurance programs, followed by complex policy work for both public and private companies at AHT Insurance. Most recently, Pierce came to Assurely from the insurtech start-up CoverWallet, where he built CoverStartUps, an industry-leading division focused on insurance programs for high-growth startups.

He has led corporate clients from idea stage through to IPO, and he intimately understands how emerging technologies, new capital raise techniques, and changing industries impact risk. He has a particular ability to match risk with proper insurance coverage for his clients in simple and effective ways.
