Chip Beebe

Chip Beebe is an accomplished aerospace engineer with over three decades of experience in mechanical design and management within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Architect at AST SpaceMobile since August 2023, Chip previously held significant roles, including Manager and Staff Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, where leadership in spacecraft design and space instrumentation was paramount. Chip's earlier work as Lead Mechanical Engineer and Manager at Texas Research Institute involved applied research and development in composite structures, while a long tenure at Orbital Sciences Corporation encompassed roles as Principal Mechanical Engineer, where Chip led teams on high-volume launch vehicle programs, managing various design and analysis tasks.
