Kader Chellabi

Kader Chellabi has over 17 years of experience in the field of reliability engineering and structural analysis. Kader is currently working as the Director of Reliability Engineering at AST SpaceMobile since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon/Kuiper as a Senior Reliability Engineer from November 2020 to January 2023. Kader also held the position of Senior Stress Analyst at Amazon Prime Air from May 2016 to January 2023, where they were responsible for structural analysis and validation of UAV structures. Before that, they worked at Amazon Go as a Senior Reliability Engineer from October 2014 to May 2016, where they performed reliability predictions and qualified camera performance. Kader Chellabi also has experience working at Westport as an Analysis Engineer, Microsoft as a Senior FEA Engineer, RJI Engineering as a Principal Engineer, eSolar as a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Analyst, Energy Innovations as a Structural Analyst, and NASA Ames Research Center as a Structural Analyst. Through their work experience, they have gained expertise in finite element analysis, FEA software, hand calculations, and structural integrity analysis.

Kader Chellabi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Kader also holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique, where they studied from 1983 to 1988.
