Douglas Godard

Douglas Godard has over 35 years of work experience, with a wide range of roles and expertise. Douglas started their career as an IBM Mainframe Developer for various Fortune 500 companies from 1985 to 1995. From 1995 to 2000, they worked as a Contract Software Engineering Consultant. Douglas then joined the Automobile Club of S. California as a Sr. Technical Consultant from 2001 to 2005, specializing in corporate web site development. Douglas moved on to Incuity Software, Inc as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2005 to 2008, where they focused on ASP.NET, Webforms, MVC, and SharePoint WebParts. Incuity Software was acquired by Rockwell Automation, where they continued to work as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2008 to 2017. During this time, they also held the role of Solution Architect from 2018 to 2022, specializing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and IoT. Currently, Douglas is working at Astadia as a Principal Mainframe Migration Specialist, specializing in the migration of legacy Mainframe OLTP systems to modern .NET C# architectures.

Douglas Godard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating between 1980 and 1985.
