Marie Stark

Marie Stark has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Marie is currently a Principal Scientist at Astellas Gene Therapies, starting in April 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Scientist at the same company from April 2022 to April 2023, and as a Scientist II from March 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Astellas Gene Therapies, Marie worked at aMDi Labs as a Senior Research Consultant from March 2021 to August 2021, and as a Senior Research Scientist from November 2017 to March 2021. Marie'sresponsibilities there included protein engineering, production, purification, and radioactivity experiments, as well as facility development and safety management. Marie also worked at the University of California, Davis as a Research Affiliate from August 2014 to August 2017, and as a Lab Manager from September 2016 to March 2017. Additionally, they were a PhD Student Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä from June 2013 to June 2017. Marie also gained research experience as a Research Intern at both the University of California, Davis and XOMA in 2010.

Marie Stark completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics at the University of California, Davis. Marie attended the university until 2013. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Jyväskylä from 2013 to 2017.
