Karl Hine

Karl Hine has a diverse work experience in the community housing sector. Karl started their career as a Rural Housing Enabler at the Community Council for Somerset (CCS) in June 2005. Karl then progressed to become a Senior Rural Housing Enabler in December 2005, remaining in this role until June 2010. During this time, Karl gained valuable experience in community housing development and management.

In July 2010, Karl joined Aster Group UK as a Project Manager. Karl held this position until April 2012, where they successfully managed various projects related to community housing. In August 2012, Karl transitioned into the role of Project Manager (Community Housing) and continued in this role until April 2018. This role allowed him to further enhance their skills in community housing projects and development management.

From April 2018 to April 2022, Karl served as a Development Manager (Community Housing) at Aster Group UK, showcasing their expertise in managing community housing projects from inception to completion. Finally, in April 2022, Karl advanced to the position of Head of Community Housing, where they currently work. Their comprehensive work experience reflects their dedication and success in the community housing sector.

Karl Hine attended The University of Sheffield from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in History.
