Patrick Lammers

Patrick Lammers has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Patrick started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Boeing Aerospace, where they were involved in designing and building software for automated wire bundling in the 747 line. Patrick also delivered an Automated Wire Harness Manufacturing System for the US Navy.

Later, Patrick joined Microsoft, where they held various roles such as SDET for different teams, including the Windows 95 team, the Winpad Team, and the Netmeeting SDET. Patrick also served as the MSN Test Lead and Outlook Express Test Manager before becoming the CSS Team Test Manager, Rich Media Team Test Manager, and MSN Mobile Test Manager. Their responsibilities included managing teams, driving testing and certification efforts, and releasing extensions for Windows.

After their tenure at Microsoft, Patrick joined Expedia, Inc. as the Director of Technology, where they focused on building high-volume, large-scale services in Java with geographically distributed teams. Patrick also worked on projects involving data mining for traveler sentiment. Patrick later transitioned to the role of Test Manager, where they built a test team focused on web services and Java, implementing Agile methods, DevOps, and CI/CD.

Patrick then joined UST Global as a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master, where they helped build an open-source enterprise-level access management solution on blockchain for T-Mobile. During this role, they faced new challenges in managing an agile project as open source and facilitating collaboration among team members.

Most recently, Patrick joined eBay as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on quality. In this role, they contributed to ensuring the quality of products and services offered by eBay.

Currently, Patrick holds the position of Director of Product & Program Management at Aster Insights, where they utilize their skills and experiences to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Patrick Lammers obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, completing their education from 1982 to 1986.
