Martin Carter

Martin Carter has extensive experience in the credit union sector, currently serving as the President and CEO of Astera Credit Union since July 2015, overseeing a financial cooperative with $150 million in assets and a team of 70 employees. Prior to this role, Martin was the Chief Executive Officer of Parkside Credit Union from August 2012 to June 2015, managing an organization with $80 million in assets and responsible for operational execution of strategic plans. Martin's career includes various leadership positions at notable financial institutions such as Community Choice Credit Union and Research Federal Credit Union, along with a consulting role at inFUSION Group LLC. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, both earned from Walsh College.
