Gary Miguel is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering at Astera Institute, focusing on brain-inspired artificial intelligence project Obelisk while prioritizing safety. Prior to this role, Gary held positions as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, where Gary led the Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) converters team, and as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where Gary was the tech lead of the platform infrastructure team for the Fuchsia operating system.
