Robert Shaw

Robert Shaw has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Robert is currently working as a Principal Field Application Engineer at Astera Labs. Prior to this, they held the role of Distinguished Field Applications Engineer at AMPERE COMPUTING EMPLOYER LLC from March 2021 to December 2021.

Robert spent a significant portion of their career at AMD, where they held the position of Sr. Solutions Architect / FAE from September 2014 to March 2021. In this role, they provided technical sales support and field applications engineering to enterprise customers and assisted in resolving issues and identifying new opportunities.

Before joining AMD, Robert worked at SHI International Corp. as a Solutions Architect for a brief period in 2014. Additionally, they gained valuable experience at NextIO, where they held numerous roles of increasing responsibility from May 2008 to August 2013.

Their career in the technology industry began at Advanced Micro Devices in 1995, where they held numerous roles of increasing responsibility until April 2008.

Robert Shaw completed their education in a chronological order. Robert began their academic journey at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering Technologies and graduated in 1983. Robert then attended Park University, where they studied Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree between 1997 and 2001. Finally, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a Master's degree in Management Information Systems Management (MISM) with a focus on Management Information Systems.
