Tiffany Hoefer

Tiffany Hoefer, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Tiffany began their career as a Fiscal Technician and Program Assistant at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, where they managed databases, prepared reports, and provided training. Tiffany then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Western Carolina University, providing research and classroom support to faculty members.

Moving into the education field, Tiffany served as an Instructional Designer at the University of South Carolina, where they created education programs and utilized various Learning Management Systems. Tiffany also worked as an Instructional Designer at the South Carolina Department of Education, where they developed continuing education programs for virtual high school teachers.

Tiffany then transitioned to Midlands Technical College, taking on the role of an Instructional Designer. In this position, they authored and presented continuing education programs for faculty, created online training, and used various e-learning authoring software.

Tiffany'smost recent role is at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). Tiffany started as an Instructional Systems Designer, providing support for learning content and professional development. Tiffany then became the Manager of Instructional Systems Design, overseeing the design and delivery of online learning experiences. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Learning Design and Distance Services at ASTHO, where they are responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of member-facing educational initiatives.

Throughout their career, Tiffany has demonstrated expertise in instructional design, learning management systems, and creating innovative online learning experiences.

Tiffany Hoefer, M.Ed. obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of South Carolina in 2005. Tiffany then went on to earn their master's degree in Educational Technology from the University of South Carolina Aiken from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from Midlands Technical College. In addition to their degrees, Tiffany has obtained various certifications, including the Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers certificate from CITI Program in 2023.
