Mrunal Desai

Mrunal Desai has extensive experience in the IT industry. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Data Center Operations Manager at Microsoft, where they managed a Microsoft Data Center with 100,000+ servers. In 2008, they moved to Verizon Business as an IT Operations Manager, where they were responsible for Remote Application Management for 100+ Clients. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Monitoring and SRE Manager at Macy's, managing two teams for Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com, and implementing HP BSM, BPM, RUM, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Co-Founder and CEO of Astics.

Munal Desai began their educational journey at Palm Beach School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2000. Mrunal then attended Foothill College, where they earned an AS in Computer Science in 2003. In 2004, they transferred to California State University - East Bay, where they earned a BS in Computer Science and a Minor in Math in 2007. In addition to their formal education, Desai also holds an ITIL V3 Foundation certification, which they obtained in May 2012.
