Paul Bates

Paul Bates is a Senior Lead in Training & Certification at ASTM Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence and ASTM International. Before this, Paul was the Manager of Facility Safety & Workforce Development in Additive Manufacturing at UL. Paul also has experience as the General Manager at the UL AMCC Training Center and as an Additive Manufacturing Development Lead Engineer. With a background in CAD/CAM management and expertise in 3D printing technologies, Paul has a range of experience from CAD/CAM Manager at Double W Mold to Director of Advanced Process Engineering at Reebok International. Paul holds a BS in Design Technology from Bowling Green State University and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
