Arjav Trivedi

Arjav Trivedi has a diverse background in football data analytics and research. Arjav currently serves as the Head of Football Research & Strategy at Aston Villa Football Club since November 2023. Before joining Aston Villa, they were the Lead Data Scientist & Engineer at the club from October 2021 to November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Football Data Engineer at FIFA from July 2021 to December 2021. Arjav also has experience as a Data Scientist & Data Engineer at Arsenal F.C from July 2018 to June 2021, and as a Data Scientist at BlinkPool from September 2016 to January 2018.

Arjav Trivedi completed their education at Imperial College London. From 2009 to 2013, they obtained an MSci degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications in coaching football, such as the FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course, FA Coaching Futsal Level 1, FA Goalkeeping Coaching Award Level 2, FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football, FA Youth Award Module 3, and UEFA B Coaching License.
