Karen Weber

Karen Weber has been working as a freelance Art Director, Designer, and Illustrator since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a Prop Stylist at Garnish Studios. Karen has also held the role of Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator at Maman NYC since 2016. From 2013 to 2019, Weber worked as a Freelance Art Director and Art Director of Design & Marketing at Astor Wines & Spirits. During this time, they also held the roles of Freelance Production Designer at Vox Media, LLC., SELF Magazine, and Sony Electronics, as well as Freelance Production & Graphic Designer at INCA Productions and Freelance Production Designer at Nickelodeon. During their time at INCA Productions, they created moody, gold-dusted catacombs inside a Louis Vuitton carnival game for Fund Fair 2017 and designed informational decks for NYFW 2018. At Nickelodeon, they produced and commissioned branded props for the Kid's Choice Sports 2017 web content shoot by production company Whistle Sports, set up each game, managed the props and art budget, and ensured all visuals stayed on-brand.

Karen Weber began their educational journey in 2006 when they attended the University of Delaware and earned a BFA in Visual Communication with a focus in Graphic Design, Advertising, and Illustration. In 2010, they participated in a study abroad program at VCUK in London, focusing on Design, Illustration, Fine Art, and Advertising. Currently, they are enrolled in a Master of Arts program at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, studying Arts and Cultural Enterprise.
