Amily Zhang

Amily Zhang currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Science Oncology at AstraZeneca since March 2025. Previously, Amily held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Antengene from December 2022 to April 2025 and worked at Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. as Chief Medical Officer (Oncology) and Vice President, Head of Clinical Development - Oncology from July 2019 to December 2022. Amily's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Bayer from January 2009 to June 2019 in various roles related to global clinical development and medical affairs in oncology. Prior positions include Medical Advisor for Oncology at Novartis and Medical Oncologist at Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Henan Cancer Hospital from July 2000 to July 2007. Amily holds a Master's degree in Medical Oncology from the Cancer Hospital/Institute of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, awarded between 2004 and 2007.
