Bohdan Andreiuk, PhD, is a highly accomplished scientist specializing in nonviral gene delivery and nanoparticle chemistry, with extensive experience in research and development across leading institutions. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Teknova since December 2021, Bohdan has pioneered the company’s nonviral gene delivery efforts, focusing on the formulation and optimization of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Previous roles include Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, where Bohdan led the optimization of gold nanostars synthesis and discovered new dyes for enhanced surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) applications. Other notable contributions were made as a Research Scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Strasbourg, where Bohdan developed innovative techniques in nanomaterial synthesis and fluorescence enhancement. Bohdan holds a PhD in Chemistry/Nanochemistry from the University of Strasbourg and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
