Ellen McMahon

Ellen McMahon currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for Global Operations and IT at AstraZeneca, a position held since April 2019, where the focus is on advancing people strategies towards innovative manufacturing practices and transforming operations into "Smart Factories" through digital and AI initiatives. Prior to AstraZeneca, Ellen spent seven years at Teva Pharmaceuticals in various HR leadership roles, including Head of Human Resources for Americas Operations, overseeing a team supporting 5,000 employees across multiple manufacturing sites. Additional experience includes roles at Johnson & Johnson, where Ellen acted as Director and HR Business Partner for executive leadership teams, and at McNeil Consumer Healthcare as Director of HR. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Human Resources from La Salle University, and completed the CHRO Executive Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
