Jeannette Sendall

Jeannette Sendall has extensive experience in procurement and sourcing within the pharmaceutical, food, and corporate services sectors. Since November 2011, Jeannette has held various senior roles at AstraZeneca, including R&D Procurement Senior Director - Planning & Operations, Global Procurement Operations Lead - Science Units, and Clinical Procurement Manager & Commercial Lead Clinical Bioanalysis Alliance. Prior to AstraZeneca, Jeannette worked at HJ Heinz in European buyer roles for Corporate Services, Sweeteners and Starch, and Contract Manufacturing from March 2005 to November 2011. Jeannette's career began at GlaxoSmithKline, where responsibilities included Sourcing Group Manager and Sourcing Manager, followed by a position as Senior Buyer at Compass Group UK & Ireland. The early career also included an industrial placement at Nestle. Jeannette holds a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Nutrition from Newcastle University, along with A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from Bradford Girls Grammar and 9 GCSEs.
