Kevin Woollard

Kevin Woollard is a Senior Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in renal leadership and CVRM immunology since March 2019. Previously held roles include Director and Senior Director, focusing on kidney regeneration and target discovery for chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury. Kevin is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Immunobiology at Imperial College London, where leadership in PhD and postdoctoral research on renocardiac disease is a key responsibility. Additional experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at King's College London and Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, as well as an international research fellowship at Roche. Kevin earned a PhD in Immunology and a BSc in Human Biology from Aston University. Since March 2024, Kevin has been a member of the UK Young Academy.
