Rich Groppenbacher

Rich Groppenbacher is an experienced sales leader in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, currently serving as the Cardiovascular Specialty/Hospital District Sales Manager at AstraZeneca since January 2024. Prior roles include Head of Sales for Infectious Disease and Area Business Leader for Respiratory at Avellino Lab from March 2021 to July 2023. Rich also held the position of Senior Regional Sales Manager at Teva Pharmaceuticals for nearly a decade, and prior to that, served as National Sales Manager at Comverge. Additionally, Rich was a District Sales Manager at sanofi-aventis from October 2001 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Arizona, earned between 1985 and 1990.
