Michael Chongpornprasert

Michael Chongpornprasert has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analysis. Michael began their career as a Research Analyst at Gordon and Associates, Inc., where they conducted data import, storage, analysis, and reporting for clinical research projects. Michael then joined Astreya Partners as a Data Analyst for the Global Infrastructure Commercial Operations Team at Google Inc., where they oversaw data quality and governance standards and managed detailed invoice data.

Afterwards, Chongpornprasert worked as a Senior Marketing Analyst at Diligente Technologies at One Kings Lane, where they provided business and technical direction for furniture eCommerce marketing efforts and performed data analysis using SQL and Excel. Michael then joined Astreya as a Business Intelligence Analyst for the Corporate BI Team at Google Inc., where they designed Tableau dashboards and extracted and validated datasets for decision-making purposes.

Chongpornprasert later joined Rodan + Fields as a Digital Product Data Analyst, where they utilized data mining and modeling to guide product development and identify factors influencing product metrics. Michael then returned to Astreya as a BI Analyst onsite at Facebook Inc., where they designed Tableau dashboards and extracted and validated datasets to support the company's edge network services.

Currently, Chongpornprasert is working as a Business Intelligence Lead at Astreya, leading the cross-functional effort between data analysis, data engineering, and data science teams to unify organizational policies and ensure the delivery of daily analysis and dashboards. Michael has also improved workflow and insights reports and managed the work items of a BI team.

Michael Chongpornprasert obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, completing their education from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained a certification from edX for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science, with the specific month of completion not provided but the year being 2014.
