Michael Harnett

Michael Harnett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael started their career at Accutron in 1996 as a Development Engineer, working on software and hardware development projects for key clients. In 2001, they joined Vigitek Ltd. as an Electronic Engineer, where they worked until 2005. At Vigitek, they managed a multi-discipline engineering team and oversaw the development of their market-leading 100% Inspection System. Michael also traveled internationally to customer sites for requirements gathering and installation management.

In 2006, Harnett joined QuadTech as a Software Engineering Manager. Michael managed a large software development team that worked on control equipment for the commercial, newspaper, and packaging print industry. This team was responsible for the full new product development process, from requirements to testing and beta testing. Harnett continued their role at QuadTech until 2017.

From 2017 to 2020, Harnett worked at Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed engineering teams and contributed to the company's projects.

Currently, Harnett is employed at Astronautics Corporation of America. Michael started as a Product Engineering Manager in July 2020 and was later promoted to Senior Engineering Manager in June 2021.

Michael Harnett obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin, which they attended from 1992 to 1996. In addition, Michael Harnett obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2013.
