Kevin Ruppel

Kevin Ruppel has extensive work experience in various roles in the technology and education sectors. Kevin most recently served as the VP Field Engineering at Astronomer since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sisense, where they held positions such as VP Sales Engineering, Director of Sales Engineering, and Enterprise Pre-Sales Engineer from 2016 to 2022. Before joining Sisense, Kevin worked at Pandera Systems as a leader of solution architects and presales engineers, focusing on BI implementations and training from 2013 to 2016. Kevin also worked at MicroStrategy as a Consultant in the Mobile Product Group and as an Education Consultant from 2011 to 2013. Early in their career, Kevin worked as a 7th and 8th Grade Math Teacher at the Recovery School District in 2010.

Kevin Ruppel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University. Kevin also studied Economics at the University of Buenos Aires. Kevin completed their secondary education at Germantown Academy. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a MicroStrategy Certified Engineer and Developer version 9.3 from MicroStrategy in 2011.
