Vishwas Raman's work experience begins in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Cellmania Inc. Vishwas then worked as a Software Engineer at Eternal Systems from 2001 to 2004, where they contributed to the development of failover systems for TCP server endpoints. In 2004, they joined Yahoo as a Software Engineer and held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager. Vishwas was responsible for key platforms and services related to Yahoo membership and led cross-functional teams. In 2010, they became the Engineering Manager for Yahoo Smart TV. From 2017 to 2018, Vishwas was the Director of Engineering at Oath, where they managed the team that delivered a unified header across all Yahoo products. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Director of Engineering at Zume Inc. Currently, Vishwas is the Senior Director of Engineering at Astronomer, a platform for running and monitoring Apache Airflow clusters.

Vishwas Raman completed their Engineering Leadership Professional Program at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. Vishwas obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1998 to 2000. Earlier, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras between 1994 and 1998. Vishwas Raman attended P.S Senior Secondary School from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they are a Certified Scrum Master, having obtained this certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2014.
