Nermin Mikhail is an experienced interpreter currently working with UNHCR, Asylum Access, and IOM - UN Migration since August 2021, January 2021, and February 2020, respectively. Previously, Nermin served as a substitute teacher at the International School of Bangkok and a religion teacher at RIS Ruamrudee International School. Earlier experience includes roles as an Arabic interpreter for Jesuit Refugee Services and as a volunteer social worker at an orphanage. Nermin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from South Valley University and various qualifications, including a diploma in Language Interpretation and Translation from the American University in Cairo, a postgraduate diploma in Special Education, and a certificate in Positive Psychiatry and Mental Health. Currently enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology.
