Emel Güneş Atagün

Emel Güneş Atagün is the current Deputy GM of the Department of Treasury & Economic Research at A&T BANK. Prior to this, they served as Head of Treasury at Denizbank from July 1997 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing the bank's Treasury Marketing & Pricing Department, Cash and Liquidity Management (Money Market) Dept, Trading & Structuring Department, and was also responsible for ALM, transfer pricing for loans & deposits, VOB transactions, and ALCO and Core ALCO member.

Before their time at Denizbank, Atagün served as Treasurer at Zorlu Holding from October 1995 to July 1997 where they were responsible for liquidity and market risk management, cash management, and export/import related foreign exchange transactions of Zorlu and Vestel group companies, as well as Zorlu family wealth management.

Atagün began their career in January 1992 as a Senior Trader in Fixed Income at TSKB. In this role, they managed TSKB's securities portfolio including bonds, convertibles and warrants in main currencies, repo and reverse repo transactions, spot and forward foreign exchange transactions, interest rate and currency swaps and futures trading for investment and hedge purposes, and equity trading for foreign investors at ISE. Emel left this position in August 1988 to September 1989 to serve as a Junior Trader.

Emel Güneş Atagün has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of South Florida and a B.A. from Boğaziçi University in Business Administration.
