Nick Hill is a seasoned project engineer at ATA Engineering with extensive experience in the aerospace industry, including a significant tenure at SpaceX where roles included Dynamics Engineer II and Dynamics Engineer I. Notable achievements at SpaceX involve developing a finite element model for the Falcon Heavy upper stage, creating pioneering methodologies for launch vehicle re-entry predictions, and designing custom vibration isolation mounts that facilitated successful landings. Educationally, Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College, where involvement extended to various leadership positions and innovative projects, including patented braking systems for ziplines and experimental cold gas thrusters for civil structures. Additional experience includes roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and in retail management, highlighting a strong background in engineering, leadership, and project management.
