Stephan Piworus

Stephan Piworus has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Stephan is currently the Vice President Europe at atai, a position they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Investor & Strategic Advisor at Flagship Founders starting in March 2023. From 2016 to 2023, Piworus was the Managing Director at P7 Consulting. Stephan also served as the Global Vice President Sales & Vertical Head of Marine & Ports at IDENTEC SOLUTIONS from 2016 to 2023. From 2014 to 2016, they were the General Manager Maritime at www.TRENZ.AG. Piworus also held the role of Head of Hamburg Office at Maritime Cluster Northern Germany from 2011 to 2014. Stephan was the Head of ISETEC (Innovative Seaport Technologies) at EUROGATE Group from 2007 to 2011, and prior to this, they began their career as a Management Trainee at EUROGATE Group in 2006. Stephan also briefly worked as an Assistant Ship Risk Management at Alfred C. Toepfer International GmbH in 2000. Piworus was a Member of the Executive Board at Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland e. V. from 2016 to 2018.

Stephan Piworus obtained a Shipbroker degree from Berufsschule für Schiffahrt & Reiseverkehr Hamburg in the years 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued their education at the University of Hamburg from 2000 to 2005, where they completed a degree in Logistics, Public Sector, and Transport Sciences, earning the title of Dipl.-Kfm.
