Christie Phelan, B.A., M.A., is an experienced professional in human resources and strategic management, currently serving as Vice President of P&C Consulting at ATB Financial since May 2016. With a background that includes various roles such as Managing Director for Strategy & Performance Enablement and Director of People & Culture, Christie has effectively led projects and teams focused on strategic planning, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Prior to ATB Financial, Christie held senior positions at Cenovus Energy, overseeing talent management and recruitment strategies, as well as HR support for multiple business units, and began a career in human resources at EnCana. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from recognized institutions.
