Alec Boyle

Alec Boyle has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and medical research. Alec started their career at Children's National Health System as a Research Assistant, where they focused on quantitative medical imaging. Later, they joined the FDA as a Research Fellow, specializing in prosthetics. Alongside their research roles, they also worked as a Teaching Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they taught courses on computer-aided design for bioengineers and engineering design. Alec then transitioned to industry, working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at MaxCyte, Inc. and subsequently as an Engineer at Applied Medical, where they advanced from Engineer I to Engineer II. Alec continued to develop their skills and expertise at Surgalign as a Senior Development Engineer, and in 2023, they joined Alphatec Spine as a Senior Design Engineer. Alec Boyle has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and problem-solving throughout their career.
