Christopher Chu

Christopher Chu has a diverse work experience. Christopher worked as a Global Compensation Analyst at Alphatec Spine, where they supported the company's compensation programs, conducted market data benchmarking, and evaluated existing practices. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Accountant, responsible for journal entries, fixed asset and depreciation schedules, and cash forecasting at Alphatec Spine as well. Christopher also has experience at PwC, where they started as an Assurance Intern and later became an Assurance Associate and an Assurance Experienced Associate. In these roles, they audited financial statement areas, maintained client relationships, and reviewed junior associates' work. Before joining PwC, Christopher worked at the University of San Diego as a Resident Assistant, where they supervised residents and facilitated community programs, as well as a Copley Library Access Services Student Worker and an Administrative Assistant, where they handled library operations and assisted students. Overall, Christopher has developed a strong skillset in compensation analysis, accounting, auditing, and customer service.

Christopher Chu attended the University of San Diego from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including "Problem Solving with Excel" from Coursera in July 2018, "Microsoft Office Excel Certified" from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in March 2016, and "Certified Public Accountant (Inactive)" from the California Board of Accountancy in January 2021.
