Laurent Plagne has over 25 years of work experience, starting with their role as an R&D Engineer at Thales from 1995 to 1999. Laurent then moved on to Thomson Grass Valley, where they worked as a Project Manager and Engineer in charge of business affairs from 2000 to 2007. Following this, they joined Vantiva as a Customer Delivery Manager and Program Director, where they oversaw the specification, development, qualification, industrialization, and delivery of internet boxes and TV decoders to pay-TV operators and telecom operators. Laurent worked at Vantiva from 2008 to 2020, managing programs and teams ranging from 10 to 30 people. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Customer Engineering Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa at ATEME. In this role, Laurent leads a team of 14+ professionals, ensuring successful project delivery, customer engagement, and maintenance activities for tier 1 and 2 customers while focusing on long-term resilience through hiring and carrier management.
