James Roberts has over 25 years of professional experience in the technology industry. James began their career in 1993 as a Microsoft System Consultant / System Administrator for AG Research. James then moved on to become a Microsoft Solutions Consultant for the Bell Sygma (ETR 407 Project) in 1996. In 1997, they were hired as a Principal Consultant for Software Spectrum Canada. James then moved on to become the President / Principal Consultant for The Fossmill Group / Fossmill Investments Inc. in 2005. James Roberts studied Electronics Engineering Technology at the Nova Scotia Community College Marconni Campus from 1992-1993 and continued their studies at Cape Breton University in the same field from 1993-1994. James obtained a certification in Instructional Techniques (Train The Trainer) from Friesen, Kaye and Associates in August 1996. In March 2008, they acquired a certification in Instructional Designer/Developer from Langevin Learning Services. Most recently, in November 2020, they obtained a certification in How to Manage a Remote Team from Coursera.
