Nathan Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nathan is currently serving as the President of the C5 and EMSO Divisions at ATG - Aeronix Technologies Group. Prior to this, they worked at L3Harris Technologies as a General Manager in both the Tactical Missions Division and the Strategic Missions Division. In these roles, they led teams in the development of cutting-edge capabilities and systems for defense and intelligence purposes. Before joining L3Harris Technologies, Nathan worked at Harris Corporation, where they held positions such as Business Area General Manager, Branch Lead, Program Manager, Project Engineer, and Materials Engineer. Nathan also gained experience at Alcoa/Engineered Products as an Application Engineering Intern. Early in their career, Nathan served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Craftsman.
Nathan Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Purdue University, which they obtained in 2006. Nathan further pursued their education at Purdue University, earning a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2006 to 2007. In 2018, they attended The Wharton School for a Leadership Development Program in Business. In 2021, they completed an Executive Education Program in Business at The Wharton School.
