Caroline Keogh Blevins

Caroline Keogh Blevins serves as the Director of Patient Safety at athenahealth, a position held since April 2015, following roles as Senior Patient Safety Manager and Patient Safety Manager. Prior experience includes serving from September 2011 to March 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Senior Consultant and Patient Safety Consultant, focusing on developing a safety culture and improving patient safety processes. Caroline's career began at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from July 2008 to August 2011 as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Spine Intensive Care Unit, where leadership included chairing the NSICU Quality Committee and earning the Gail Corush Award for Excellence in Neuroscience Nursing. Caroline also worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
