Ephraim Fuks

Ephraim Fuks has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of learning, instructional design, and tax training. Ephraim started their career in 1985 as a Senior Tax Manager at KPMG and then went on to work as a legal training consultant at the European Commission from 1988 to 1991. From 1991 to 2009, Ephraim worked at IBFD as a Senior Tax Training Specialist, where they were responsible for facilitating tax specialists globally and managing fiscal information, training, and education. In 2009, they became an Instructional Designer at "E-learning for kids," contributing to the development of successful e-learning applications that were accessible to children worldwide. Ephraim then founded KnowTax in 2009, where they served as the founder until 2013, focusing on tax-related services. Ephraim continued their career as a Partner in Legal Training Optimization at Atheneum Partners in 2013, and in 2014, they established their own consultancy called TrainWell Consultancy. Currently, Ephraim works as a Learning and Instructional Expert at Brandon Hall Group.

Ephraim Fuks has a diverse education history that spans several decades. Ephraim holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional design and technology, which they obtained from the Open Universiteit from 2021 to 2024. In 2010 to 2012, Ephraim completed a Certified Professional Program in the Design of training and professional educational programs, also from the Open Universiteit.

In 1989 to 1991, Ephraim pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in legal information management and e-learning from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School. Additionally, in 1988 to 1989, they completed the Executive Masters in International and European Law program at the Amsterdam School for Executive Development in International Relations.

Ephraim's educational journey began at the University of Amsterdam from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a Master's degree in law and a Master's degree in taxation with a focus on taxation and law.

In addition to their formal education, Ephraim has sought to enhance their skills through various certifications. Some notable certifications include "Learning Moodle 3.7," "Moodle: Assessing Learning," "Brain-Based Elearning Design," and "Agile Instructional Design," earned from LinkedIn. Ephraim has also completed several certifications related to video production, editing, and instructional design.
