About the Role As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for leading the Product Management and Design teams to drive the development, launch, and growth of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals. Reporting to the SVP Platform and Delivery, You will have the opportunity to take the product strategy crafted and turn it into reality, ensuring its successful execution while also contributing your own strategic insights. Our organization is primarily remote, but there will be times when you’ll be expected to come into the Toronto office to connect and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Product Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product management and design teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to execute against the Product Roadmap ensuring successful delivery of product projects and initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights, validate product concepts, and ensure that our product offerings solve real customer problems.
  • Product Metrics: Develop and maintain a robust framework for defining and tracking key product metrics that align with business goals. Use these metrics to assess product performance, guide strategic decisions, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize product features, enhance user experience, and drive revenue growth.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to lead market and competitive intelligence efforts. Drive market and product positioning, optimize sales enablement strategies, and oversee pricing and packaging to ensure alignment with business objectives and market demands.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Very strong commercial strategy and execution experience such as market intelligence, pricing, positioning, etc.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and a focus on revenue generation, driving product growth and profitability.
  • Expertise in product marketing, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic product positioning, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, a true team spirit, and the ability to work seamlessly with others, always putting the team above ego
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in thriving within and contributing to the advancement of high-growth startups.
  • MBA with a focus on finance or marketing a strong asset
