Janet Willisson

Janet Willisson, EdD, CISM, has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity Operations and Information Systems Management at Athens State University since November 2020, where responsibilities include teaching a variety of courses related to cybersecurity and information systems. Previously, Janet worked as an Adjunct Professor in similar subjects and held a position in Cyber Security at Sentar Inc. from January 2017 to November 2022. Janet's educational background includes an EdD in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University, an MS in Management Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology, and a BS in Education from the University of North Alabama.
