Stacie Hughes

Stacie Hughes is a highly experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Professor of Accounting at Athens State University since August 2005, where responsibilities include leading various programs such as the Master of Accountancy and Forensic Accounting, as well as directing the Accounting Lab. Stacie has held multiple academic titles at the university, contributing significantly to course development and student mentorship. Previously, Stacie served as an Accounting Manager at General Electric and held financial roles in various organizations, including Senior Accountant at Sanmina and Director of Finance at Southern States Services. Stacie holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and has an extensive background in accounting, including both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Additionally, Stacie contributes as a Subject Matter Expert for McGraw Hill, focusing on accounting textbook updates and resources.
