Lucas Crooks has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A in 2015. After that, they worked as a Supervisor at Tower Theatres from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, they began working at JW Marriott as an Assistant Front Desk Manager, where they improved GSS check-in experience scores from a 78.3 in 2017 to a 79.1 in 2018 and increased GSS staff service scores from a 78. Lucas also held the roles of Rooms Operations Voyager and Front Desk Internship. In 2019, they became the Front Desk Manager at The Mayflower Hotel (Autograph Collection). Most recently, they began working for Visit Tucson as a Marketing Coordinator in 2022, and they are also a Maxwell Leadership Certified Leadership Development Coach, Speaker, and Trainer for Maxwell Leadership since 2015. Lucas is currently working at Athletic Brewing Co. as a Customer Experience since 2022.

Lucas Crooks obtained a degree in Hospitality Management from Northern Arizona University between 2013 and 2017. In 2018, they completed the Voyage Marriott Global Leadership Development Program with Marriott International. In 2015, they became a Leadership Development Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with Maxwell Leadership. In September 2022, they obtained a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google Digital Garage. In October 2022, they obtained a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) certification from the Certified Tourism Ambassador Program.
