Florian Gyger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Florian began their career as an Apprentice at Similor AG, where they learned mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing techniques. Following this, they worked as a CAD Designer at Similor AG before moving on to a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer at WIFAG Maschinenfabrik AG, where they analyzed assemblies and suggested design changes for newspaper printing systems.

Florian then joined Agathon AG as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they developed a pneumatic touch probe and an automated tray storage system for a grinding center. Florian's accomplishments include engineering a tray storage system with longer autonomy, developing a pneumatic touch probe, and collaborating with suppliers to reduce material costs.

Next, Florian worked at Amsonic Hamo as a Project Manager on a contract basis, creating tools for an efficient order process for new cleaning equipment. Florian collaborated with engineers and established checklists and templates to automate the bill of materials creation process.

Florian then transitioned to Hardinge Inc, first as a Project Manager and later as a Project Engineer. In these roles, they managed projects and coordinated activities to ensure successful outcomes.

Currently, Florian is a Project Manager at Athletica Sport Systems Inc., where they oversee various tasks including estimating, consulting, creating bill of materials, reviewing rink layouts, and coordinating production and installation. Florian collaborates with different departments to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

Florian Gyger attended Berner Fachhochschule BFH from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
