Sean Dowling

Sean Dowling is an experienced investment accountant currently employed at Athora since October 2021, where responsibilities include preparing and presenting analytical reviews of reinsurance treaties. Their previous role as an investment graduate involved working on group investment operations covering insurance and reinsurance portfolios. Prior to Athora, Sean served as an assistant tax advisor at EY, focusing on corporation tax compliance for multinational clients. Additional experience includes serving as a macro economist for a student-managed fund at TU Dublin, a business analyst intern at ESB, and various other roles in accounting, catering, and administration. Sean holds an ACCA qualification in progress and degrees in Accounting & Finance from Technological University Dublin and International Management and Business from the University of Montpellier.
