Stephen McGrath

Stephen McGrath has extensive experience in corporate communications, crisis/issues communications, and communications strategy. Stephen has worked at Athora as the Director of External Corporate Communications since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Weber Shandwick for several years in various roles, including Secondment Project Leader, Director, and Account Executive - Account Manager - Account Director. Throughout their career, McGrath has demonstrated skills in team management, client management, strategic counsel, crisis communications, and executing integrated communications programs.

Stephen McGrath attended Ulster University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. Stephen later pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations from Ulster University from 2003 to 2004.
