Nik Kiess

Nik Kiess, PE, is a Senior Structures Engineer at AtkinsRéalis since June 2025, with prior experience as a Structural Engineer at HNTB from January 2019 to June 2025, where projects included bridge replacements and rehabilitations across all INDOT Districts. Earlier in the career, Kiess worked at HNTB as a Co-op Engineer, contributing to hydraulic analysis and design tasks for I-69 projects, and served as a volleyball referee for Purdue University intramural leagues. Kiess obtained a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from Purdue University, completing studies in 2018.
